"Be yourself" might be generic advice, but crafting an authentic personal brand is especially important for me when writing. When building a personal image, we often desire to seem impressive and eer towards creating a fake persona to create a likable reputation. It's true, it's challenging and there's immense pressure when sharing with older generations who have experienced more of life or even our peers who might have different takes.
Often to combat this, we make the mistake of overselling ourselves for that desired attention. But it’s important to remember that your actual process is more important than what you “think” it should be and more respected. There is a significant difference between documenting your journey and creating something untrue to yourself. It alters everything. I believe that documenting our authentic journeys will win time and time again.

I agree! Documenting shares your journey, and by doing so, encourages others to consider theirs as well ~ not in comparison but as a co-journeyer! (is that a word?)
Great to see you writing here, Savannah!
